OCR: CLASSIC CLIP ART During the Victorian Age, the sun never set on the British Empire and Sherlock Holmes smoked a calabash pipe in his quarters at 221-B Baker Street. The United States was just beginning to flex its international muscle, and industrialism was transforming an agrarian country to the urban nation we know today. Although it may have been a simpler era, its art was anything but. The images in this sampler are from the Antique collection of the Classic Clip Art series. It is a collection of over one thousand images, many richly detailed as in this sample collection. While the charm of these Victorian images lies in the richness of their detail, this same wealth does pose some limitations. Images such as the "whale" are composed of almost 10,000 objects which means you must be patient when loading or saving artwork that includes these images. And you won't want to put too many images in a single document as even the most advanced computer systems have limitations on memory. Experiment with these images and when you're ready to order, call or write us.
